Translation
Kimjang is the Korean custom of making a large amount of kimchi at once to eat through the winter. It began as a way to prepare for winters when vegetables were hard to get, and is usually done between late autumn and early winter. Because the quantity is too large for one person, family and neighbours gather to work together and share the kimchi. Recognised for this spirit of sharing, kimjang culture was inscribed on UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage list in 2013. Recently, as more households buy kimchi, fewer families make kimjang.

Explanation
Approach: skim the four options first and mark key words (이른 봄, 여러 사람, 맛, 늘어나다), then check each against the text. ① is wrong: it is done '늦가을에서 초겨울 사이' (late autumn to early winter). ② is right: '가족과 이웃이 모여 함께 일하고' (family and neighbours gather and work together). ③ is wrong: it was recognised for '나눔의 정신' (the spirit of sharing), not taste. ④ is wrong: the last sentence says '점점 줄어들고 있다' (is decreasing). Typical traps change one small detail – a reason, a time, increase vs decrease – as in ③ and ④.
