Explanation
Marks the time of an action or state. Vowel or ㄹ stems (ㄹ drops) take ㄹ 때, consonant stems 을 때; a completed past uses -았/었을 때. Nouns: N 때 (방학 때).
Examples
심심할 때 음악을 들어요.
I listen to music when I'm bored.
한국에 처음 왔을 때 많이 힘들었어요.
It was really hard when I first came to Korea.
방학 때 고향에 갈 거예요.
I'll go home during the vacation.
