Explanation
Shows determination: even if the extreme first clause happens, the speaker will (or won't) do the second. Attaches to verb stems (-는 한이 있더라도/있어도). The main clause is usually a resolve -겠다 or -(으)ㄹ 것이다.
Examples
밤을 새우는 한이 있더라도 오늘 끝내겠습니다.
Even if I have to stay up all night, I'll finish today.
굶는 한이 있어도 남에게 빚을 지지 않겠다.
I'd rather starve than owe anyone money.
손해를 보는 한이 있더라도 약속은 지킬 것이다.
