Picture – choose the word

그림 보고 알맞은 단어·문장 고르기

Look at one picture (an object, tool, animal, place or action) and choose the matching Korean word or sentence. It tests basic everyday and workplace vocabulary.

Test tips

  1. Name the thing in your own language first, then read the options — so familiar-looking words don't lead you astray.
  2. The four options usually come from one family (tools, protective gear, animals, places); separate them by use or body part (장갑 on hands, 양말 on feet).
  3. For action pictures the object is often the same and only the verb differs (밥을 먹다 / 밥을 하다, 고추를 따다 / 고추에 물을 주다) — read the verb carefully.
  4. Learn tools and gear as 'noun + verb' pairs: 망치로 못을 박다, 장갑을 끼다, 안전모를 쓰다, 안전화를 신다, 작업복을 입다.
  5. These are the easiest reading items: spend about 20–30 seconds each to save time for longer texts (20 reading items in 25 minutes).

Worked examples

a pair of grey cotton work gloves

다음 그림을 보고 알맞은 단어를 고르십시오.

Explanation

Step 1: name the object in your own language first — a pair of gloves worn on the hands. Step 2: find the Korean word: '장갑' (gloves; the verb is '장갑을 끼다'). The main trap is '양말' (socks): also sold in pairs and made of cloth, but worn on the feet. '모자' is a hat and '신발' shoes. Tip: EPS options usually come from one word family (things you wear), so check which body part the picture shows.
