Double final consonants
ㄳ ㄵ ㄶ ㄺ ㄻ ㄼ ㅄ…: which one is said?
Some blocks have two final consonants. Alone or before a consonant, only one of them is said.
Most keep the left one: 앉다 [안따], 없다 [업따], 값 [갑], 여덟 [여덜]. Some keep the right one: 닭 [닥], 읽다 [익따], 삶 [삼].
Before a vowel, the second letter moves to the next syllable: 읽어요 [일거요], 앉아요 [안자요].
