Penjelasan
Marks the person who receives an action (주다, 전화하다, 보내다). 에게 is more written, 한테 spoken, 께 honorific. For things or places use 에, not 에게.

I gave a present to my friend.
동생한테 전화했어요.
I called my younger sibling.
할머니께 편지를 썼어요.
I wrote a letter to my grandmother.
