Penjelasan
A state that remains after an action, usually with intransitive or passive verbs (앉다, 열리다, 붙다). ㅏ/ㅗ stems take 아 있다, others 어 있다. Contrast -고 있다 (action in progress).
Contoh
문이 열려 있어요.
The door is open.
벽에 그림이 걸려 있어요.
A picture is hanging on the wall.
할머니가 의자에 앉아 계세요.
Grandma is sitting on the chair.
